"Last Defense II 100%" Playable Alpha+Source!
Hi, My team and I are working hard on our new SDL2 "Space Invaders"game: "Last Defense II 100%". We have a playable Alpha Version and were hoping some people here could play it? You can download the Windows(R)/Linux dual-build with source code at below URL link: http://16bitsoft.com/Files/LD2/Alpha/LD2-WinLinux-Alpha.zip (EXE for any Windows(R) / makefile for any Linux) Game requirements on Linux: - GCC - SDL2 + dev - SDL2_Image + dev - SDL2_Mixer + dev - SDL2_TTF + dev - OpenGL hardware acceleration for good performance We estimate a fully operational beta in about 2 weeks. Just are looking for comments and suggestions for improvement now... Here are some screenshots: |

Hi,
We've made great progress with our SDL2 game: "Last Defense II 100%". We are continously updating the game on this forum post and the download link will remain the same. It now has 2 player simultaneous play action! Game now supports keyboard, mouse, and 1 or 2 USB gamepads. We received some emails about an earlier version. Game appears to be building and running on Apple(R) Mac OS X(R). Game has also been confirmed working on Microsoft(R) Windows(R) 8.1. Game also runs on *Ubuntu 14.04 and Microsoft(R) Windows(R) XP. We hope to receive more feedback before the official Beta1 release in about 2 weeks. Thanks in advance... Hi,
We have uploaded the final Alpha version - the forum post download URL link remains the same. We have completed everything except the new high score name input(keyboard, mouse, USB gamepad). We estimate a fully finished Beta by the end of this weekend. Please download and play this final Alpha - there is still time to change anything. Thank you!
