Hi all,

Just wanted to find out if SDL will be supporting Microsoft's new Windows 8 OS as well as their new Surface tablet device. If so that would mean we could start making games for the PC tablet market? Is there even a strong market for Windows tablets?

Further, how well does SDL support iPad game development? I know many of you use SDL 2.0, but as far as I know its not 100% stable yet. Will SDL 2.0 have more support and when is it coming out?

Not sure if this will help, but i've had no problems with SDL in Windows 8 32 or 64 bit from developer preview using vs2012

That does make me feel a lot better, at least i dont have to can my SDL code and knowledge knowing Win8 does support it.
