failure with latest mingw

As a note, with mingw-w64 git I get this:

CC build/SDL_xinput.lo

removing those definitions from src/core/windows/SDL_xinput.h worked
around it, FWIW...

Oddly, the failure doesn't seem to occur with mingw-w64 + gcc 6.3.0
but it did occur with mingw-w64 + gcc 4.9.3
