To be honest 2.0.4 release is getting waaaay out of schedule. First time in was mentioned in July 14 with intention to release in August 14. All this time a lot of patches are not accepted because nobody wants to break things before 2.0.4 is released. Considering that it will be a year soon maybe we should make a 2.0.4 branch? So things will continue to be stable in that branch and we can merge any patches to master. And any 2.0.4 fixes can be always cherry-picked anyway. What do you think?

This is on the TODO list.

Here's the current triage list for 2.0.4:

We likely won't fix every bug on there, but if it's not on that list, it's probably going to wait for at least 2.0.5.

Since there's 140+ bugs on there, if you have a patch that was only on the mailing list, we're likely to forget it. Please remind me (or better yet, get it Bugzilla and let me know)!
