Not to be impatient, as I know it will be released when it's ready, but are we going to see a release tagged anytime soon?

We were just talking about this. Ryan is creating a short list of critical fixes to get into 2.0.4 and then we'll plan release.

That should be nice. Will it have audio input?
And will it work with many music files? I would be really happy... |

Is there a list of the fixes still being considered for 2.0.4? I'm keeping my eyes on https://bugzilla.libsdl.org/show_bug.cgi?id=2353 and I can help with any testing required (as two-thirds of my controllers require this fix).

Would it be possible to get https://bugzilla.libsdl.org/show_bug.cgi?id=2669 into 2.0.4? It's very annoying to have a Windows beep every time the Alt modifier key is used.

This is on the TODO list. Here's the current triage list for 2.0.4: https://bugzilla.libsdl.org/buglist.cgi?keywords=triage-2.0.4 We likely won't fix every bug on there, but if it's not on that list, it's probably going to wait for at least 2.0.5. Since there's 140+ bugs on there, if you have a patch that was only on the mailing list, we're likely to forget it. Please remind me (or better yet, get it Bugzilla and let me know)! --ryan. _______________________________________________ SDL mailing list http://lists.libsdl.org/listinfo.cgi/sdl-libsdl.org |

These ones ( SDL1 does detect joystick (hdaps), SDL2 does not )
https://bugzilla.libsdl.org/show_bug.cgi?id=2825 and (Linux Wireless Joysticks not detected) https://bugzilla.libsdl.org/show_bug.cgi?id=2682 I suspect there is something like this happening in MAC OS X too, so maybe it is not linux specific.... altough I cannot confirm it right now (no hardware with these issues to test), a few users of my app are reporting that Android compatible Bluetooth Game controllers (like MOGA Pro Power, iPega 9023, and other similar ones) are not working. But they worked on an older build (which uses the old joystick code) |
