Welcome to the wonderful world of creating video contexts. :)

Even today, many times the only way to tell whether or not a specific
feature you need is available is to set everything up just right and then
try it... and then try again with a reduced feature set... and again, until
you either realize you can't run on this set of hardware and drivers, or you
find something that works for your application. This is not an SDL limitation,
it's the result of the fast-paced world of different hardware and drivers. :)
